Longhill Farmhouse is a Grade II listed family home set on a non-working farm on the outskirts of Ditcheat, a small & picturesque village in the rolling Somerset countryside, within easy reach of Castle Cary, Shepton Mallet, Wells and Glastonbury. Ditcheat is home to the racing stables of Paul Nicholls and local cheese makers, The Barber family. Bath and Bristol are just 45 minutes drive away, Longleat just over 30 minutes and the nearest railway station is just two miles away at Castle Cary.
We are surrounded by beautiful views of farmland and hills, and our home is a non-smoking tranquil place for those seeking peace, quiet, spiritual connection and pampering.
Our three en suite bed and breakfast rooms are peaceful, tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable, and all have tea & coffee making facilities, wireless internet connection & freeview TV's with DVD player and hair-dryer. Creech View Cottage provides a very high standard of self-catering accommodation which was newly built in 2009 in local Blue Lias stone and features solid oak flooring and doors, exposed beams, high vaulted ceilings and a huge two-storey, feature window in the lounge. Our new on-site health and beauty therapy suite offers luxurious treatments to help you relax and unwind and enjoy some pampering during your stay - (please pre-book treatments with our beauty therapist, Michelle on 01749 860585 or 07970 818586).
We keep a varied breakfast menu and all hot dishes are freshly cooked to order - from our speciality 'breakfast stack' to a traditional 'full English'. We are always happy to cater for individual dietary needs - please let us know your requirements at booking.
There is ample off road free parking suitable for vehicles of all shapes & sizes with seating in the front garden to allow you to partake of the views and refreshments during fine weather.
