Longhill Farmhouse is situated within easy reach of the Royal Bath & West Showground where many events are going on throughout the year.
Places of interest to our guests may include the city of Wells with its beautiful cathedral, also Bath, and Glastonbury with their historic past, the town of Street and Clarks Village. Cheddar Gorge and caves are approximately 21 miles, Longleat House and safari park, and the houses and gardens of Montacute and Stourhead can be reached in about 30mins by car.

The Manor Inn

Steeped in History and popular with the racing fraternity, it is the ideal environment to relax & enjoy a drink or a meal.
An
extensive menu including bar meals, are served from 12 - 2pm & 7 -
9.30pm daily, with the exception of Sunday evenings. The Manor is open
all day on a Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Offering
good home cooked food predominately sourced from local suppliers. There
are separate menus for lunchtime, a children's menu, and A La'carte.
There are also house specials that change weekly, and OAP's lunches are
served during weekday, and the restaurant is open on a Sunday.

The Natterjack
(+44(0)1749 860253 Approximately 3/4 miles from Longhill Farmhouse.
A free house within easy driving or walking distance, offering a
warm & friendly atmosphere where you can eat freshly cooked,
locally sourced food, and drink Somerset real ales.
Traditional
roasts are served every Sunday, and the Natterjack is opened every day
offering live entertainment on the Friday evening every two to three
weeks.
To eat at any of these for a weekend, it would
be advisable to book. There are also a number of other public houses in
the area all serving good food, as well as restaurants in Castle Cary,
Bruton & Shepton Mallet.

Local Church - The Church of St Mary Magdalene
The church, dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene, is in the early English style of architecture, and is built of blue lias stone.
It consists of nave, transept, aisles, porch, and tower with six bells
and a clock. There is a Wesleyan chapel within its grounds.
